THE WELLBEING OF WIRRAL.
(organised by Wirral Older People’s Parliament with help from the hospital trust and the council)
Come to the Floral Pavilion on Thursday 26th or Friday 27th May any time from 10am to 5pm, and bring your friends and family. Find out why Wirral is such a good place in which to grow older. There will be over fifty stalls full of information about activities and services. Come and plan what you will do if you are heading for retirement. Do you need ideas about housing, health, transport, pensions, voluntary work, activities to keep your brain ticking over or advice about finance? Do you want to grow your own fruit and veg, but have no garden? Do you want to take up a sport, but are not sure if you can cope after years of inactivity? Do you want to do something useful in your community? Or are you really worried about all the changes coming in the NHS? We will have a programme of workshops and seminars running for the two days. The final programme for these will be announced in May, but we can promise a varied and interesting series of talks and discussions. We will have some relaxing music in the lounge area, and the cafes will be working overtime to keep you happy. So put the dates in your diary, and bring everyone along. This is the nearest thing to a Wirral Show this summer!
